From Uedasugadaira I.C. of Joshinetsu Expressway→Exit to “Ueda downtown” and go along Route 144 towards Ueda downtown→Go along Route 18 towards Karuizawa→Turn right at “Oya” traffic light and go along Route 152 towards Shirakabako→Turn left at “Nagakubo” traffic light and go along Route 142 towards Karuizawa→ Turn left at “Nagakubo-Yokomachi”traffic light then quickly turn left again. It takes about 40 minutes.

From Sakuminami I.C. of Chubu Odan Express Way (from Joshinetsu Expressway)→Turn right at “Sakuminami IC Iriguchi” traffic light and go along Route 142 toward Shimosuwa→Go through the Kasatori Pass and turn right at “Nagakubo-Yokomachi” traffic light then quickly turn left. It takes about 40 minutes.

From Suwa I.C. of Chuo Expressway→Turn right at “Suwa IC” traffic light→Turn left at “Arai” traffic light and go along Route 152 towards Ueda/Shirakabako→Go straight at “Daimontoge” traffic light→Turn right at “Yamatobashi” traffic light and go along Route 142 towards Saku→Turn right at “Nagakubo” traffic light→ Turn left at “Nagakubo-Yokomachi” traffic light then quickly turn left again. It takes about 60 minutes.

From Okaya I.C. of Nagano Expressway→Turn right at “Okaya IC” traffic light and go along Shimosuwaokaya bypass highway towards Ueda→Turn left at “Kohoku-tunnel-minami” traffic light and go along Route 142 towards Ueda/Saku→Go straight at “Shinwada-tunnel” traffic light→Go straight at “Yamatobashi” traffic light→ Turn right at “Nagakubo” traffic light→Turn left at “Nagakubo-Yokomachi” traffic light then quickly turn left again. It takes about 40 minutes.

From Tokyo Station, take a bullet train of Hokuriku Shinkansen line →About 80 minutes→ Get off at Ueda Station and transit to Shinano Railway→ About 5 minutes→ Get off at Oya Station→Take taxi (about 30 minutes)
